Mongol-Tatar Belt from Belorechenskaya (Village of the White River). Ulus Juchi (Western part of Mongolian Empire). Late 14 c. Belt in Mongol-Tatar culture was a sign of a warrior's rank as well as of his bravery and luck. Only the bravest and the most gallant warriors of the Emperor's guard might have afforded rich belts with dragons. The set was found at Belorechenskaya, south of Russia. The price includes default number of pieces: the buckle, the strapend, one central big disc, 2 sabre holders and 23 mounts. You may as well order a different color strap. Strap width is 30 mm.
