Hourglass gauntlets with lamellar fingered

Tell about this item to your friends:

Hourglass gauntlets were widespread all over Europe in 14c. They are called so because of the shape of the wrist secton which was made of a single piece of metal with fingers then added. The cuff had been made quite flared not to prevent wrist movement and might have been made locked or not on the inner side. This model has an unlocked cuff. The fingers might have been of two types - jointed or lamellar. This model has the lamellar ones.
