Hourglass gauntlets lamellar fingered

Tell about this item to your friends:

Hourglass gauntlets were widespread all over Europe in 14-15cc. They are called so because of the shape of the wrist secton which was made of a single piece of metal with fingers then added. The cuff had been made quite flared not to prevent wrist movement and might have been made locked or not on the inner side. This model has a locked cuff. The fingers might have been of two types - jointed or lamellar. This model has the lamellar ones. Black leather gloves inside. The cuff of this model is made after the Churburg Castle armoury gauntlets in South Tyrol which are dated 1390 A.D. The  gauntlets originally had brass decorations on the cuffs and lacked fingers. The fingers of our gauntlets are made based on designs of other preserved gauntlets of this type.     Polished       High quality leather gloves and straps     Price per pair Producing time: up to 2 months Shipping time: 10-15 working days.
